Q & A

How are you helping retro video gamers and collectors?

Retro Market's goal is to help make retro video games more affordable and accessible to each and every gamer and collector. Resellers (you know who we're talking about) have bots that buy up our beloved games cheap on eBay and then sell them for a crazy amount on their own site.

eBay also doesn't help the situation since they split each listing up into its own page, making it difficult for buyers to see all the comparable prices. The current system causes retro video games to skyrocket in prices and an unhealthy market to form.

Retro Market is helping retro video gamers and collectors by taking away the obscurity and the resellers from the equation, thereby making retro games more affordable and accessible. We're building what you may call a healthy free market economy for retro video games.

What are the fees?

Retro Market is currently 0% commission until 2024, after which it will be a 10% commission on the product total plus the Stripe fee of 2.9% + $0.30 on the payment total.

What products can I list?

We offer a dedicated list of retro video games that you can list on. Easily search for the game you'd like to sell and it'll appear on a product page that buyers will easily be able to find. If you can't find what you're looking for, it's missing pricing data, or images, please don't hesitate to message us!

Do I need to be a business to list on Retro Market?

No, you do not need to be a business to list on Retro Market. We're more than happy and even encourage individuals to list their own games. It's part of giving power back to retro video gamers and collectors.
